Cream Based Cleansing Bar—Test Run #2
Share
Week 1 + 2 Days Cure Check
This test was done at one week and two days into cure. The bar is still going through its solidifying phase, so this isn’t a final judgment just a progress check.
No rush. Just results.
Cure Status
At this stage, the bar isn’t fully locked in yet. It’s firming up, but still needs more time to finish settling.
Status:
- Still solidifying
- Structure holding
- Not fully cured
This is expected at this point.
Lather & Wash Performance
Even in early cure, the bar still activates quickly with water. Lather builds fast and holds up during the wash.
Notes:
- Bubbles form easily on first contact
- Cleans close without feeling harsh
- Lather stays creamy, not drying
No breakdown during use.
Cleansing Feel
The cleanse is close and effective. Skin feels properly washed, not coated, not stripped.
This bar knows how to clean now.
Moisture Check (Post-Shower)
Right after rinsing, skin feels clean and balanced. Moisture is present, but it’s not fully maxed yet.
Five minutes out of the shower:
- No tightness
- No dry pull
- Skin doesn’t look ashy
- Moisture level feels “good,” not “rich” yet
That tells me the foundation is there It just needs more cure time to fully show up.
Honest Take
- Cleansing performance: on point
- Lather: consistent, early-stage strong
- Moisturizing: present, but still developing
- Skin comfort: solid
This bar is doing what we want for where it’s at in the cure.
Next Move
I’m giving this bar more cure time to let the moisturizing side fully develop and settle. The goal isn’t just “not dry” it’s skin that feels comfortable long after the shower.
Still testing. Still refining.
Progress Note
This bar will not be released until the moisture fully matches the vision. Cure time matters, and we’re respecting it.
